Natalia & Leonid Gavrilov, Research Associates at the Center on Aging at NORC & authors of “The Biology of Life Span”�

Drs. Leonid Gavrilov and Natalia Gavrilova, Ph.D., are Fellows of the Gerontological Society of America working at the Center on Aging of the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago.

They are husband-and-wife team, who are awarded a large research grant from the US National Institute on Aging to study exceptional human longevity. Leonid and Natalia are known for their book 'The Biology of Life Span,' which is cited as a recommended reference by Encyclopedia Britannica. They are also known as the founders of a new theory of aging, known as reliability theory of aging and longevity.
