Jay Teitel

Jay Teitel is a Toronto-based writer and editor who has won over 25 National Magazine Awards in categories ranging from Sports to Essays to Fiction. He spent six years as Senior Editor for Saturday Night Magazine, and is currently a contributing editor to Zoomer magazine, and a regular contributor to Macleans, Explore, and Sports Illustrated -- as well as a features editor for Cottage Life. He's also co-inventor of the classic board game Therapy, which has sold more than 3 million copies world-wide to date. He's written books, screenplays, and plays for the stage, the most recent of which, Alzheimer that Ends Heimer – a musical about dementia – has just concluded a successful workshop session and is scheduled for production in the spring. He is currently working on a book of short-stories, and a self-help book for the Boomer generation tentatively titled Don't Bend Down.
